What is this tour like?
Flipper Diving Club runs snorkeling excursions to both ends of the island. The operator collects you from your hotel by bus and transfers you either to the harbour at Dương Đông, if the trip goes north, or to An Thới, if it goes south; some hotel pick-ups on the northern trips may be by boat, depending on the resort. Excursions start at about 7:45 and end around 16:00.
The base rate of 900,000 VND per person applies to guests staying in the centre of the island; the operator publishes a separate rate grid for guests staying in the north and in the south, and prints the unit as '/ P' on every line. The price covers hotel pick-up, lunch, snorkeling gear (mask, snorkel and fins) and snacks and drinks. The operator states there is no age limit and that even non-swimmers can take part, with a life jacket provided for them. One seasonal fact the operator prints itself: snorkeling or diving in the north is not available from 10 May to 20 October, which means the north works exactly in the November-to-April window. Flipper holds 4.9 on Google from 410 reviews as of 4 September 2026 and publishes its own conversion of the price, about 34.5 USD.

Quick questions
What do guests say?
“LOVED. Feels so homely and fun! Great experience — they make it seamless and easy. YUM lunch, morning tea and fruit! Super memorable cool people great team.”
“I went on two fun dives with Flipper diving club. Had an amazing experience with them, everyone was super helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend certified divers to visit the South diving sites with them. Also the food on the boat is delicious.”
“My first fun dive after getting an OW certification from NAUI. We dove around Turtle Island in the North. This is a PADI club, but no problem accepting it. The dive was safe and affordable, 1.9M VND. They set up all the equipment for us, and had 2 dive guides for the 4 of us, showing us around. They chartered a big boat, so it was quite comfy. An area of improvement is that the trip is a bit socially awkward. The staff mostly keep to themselves and don't interact much with the guests in between dives / transport. So it doesn't feel quite like a diving 'community'.”
