White Island & Ras Mohammed Snorkelling Boat Trip
A boat day to White Island and Ras Mohammed for snorkellers, €25 per person. No certification needed; marine park fees are paid separately on site.
Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt · 8h · €25 per person · EN
I went for a day trip with Shark Divers, that was recommended by their brother operation, Octopus Divers in Dahab, and I highly recommend them too! I had three amazing dives at the stunning SS Thistlegorm and Ras Mohamed.
What is this tour like?
This is the snorkelling side of Shark Divers' programme, and it has nothing in common with their diving trips beyond the same base in Hadaba, next to the Desert View hotel. The boat runs to two of the best-known stops on the South Sinai coast: White Island, the sandbank that appears and disappears with the tide off Ras Mohammed, and the reefs of Ras Mohammed National Park itself. You swim from the boat with mask and fins, no tank and no certification involved.
At €25 per person this is one of the cheapest listings we carry in Sharm, and the reason is simple: the operator includes the boat trip and nothing else. Marine park fees are not in the price and are collected locally, as they are for every trip entering Ras Mohammed. Snorkelling kit is not listed either, so bring your own mask if you have one. The operator's Google rating is 4.9 from 203 reviews across the whole centre, diving and snorkelling together.
What are the highlights?
- Two stops in one day: White Island sandbank and Ras Mohammed
