This is the sea half of the Sharm El Sheikh price question, taken from operator price lists rather than from an average. Each figure below is what a named operator publishes, in the currency that operator uses; nothing here is converted, because a converted price is a price nobody actually charges.

What does the headline number leave out?
Three things, and they are the same three across almost the whole city. A boat fee of €10 per person per day at Sea College and Reef Oasis. A marine park fee, published at €10 a day by Aqua Sharm and 7 € a day by Story Divers and left unnumbered by most of the rest.
And VAT: 14 % added to the total invoice at Aqua Sharm, 10 % on all services at Reef Oasis, which is how €95 becomes about €115 per person on a boat day.

Who puts everything inside the price?
Two operators say the opposite in writing. Dolphin includes 14 % VAT, the 10 % entertainment tax and the hotel transfer in $70. Mr. Diver includes the National Park and jetty fees in $95, along with transport, breakfast, lunch, drinks and two nitrox tanks. On the catamaran, the marine park fees, the cruise permit and the fuel are all inside the $600.

Nothing here is converted into one currency — every figure is in the operator's own. Compare the whole day: the printed price plus the boat fee, the park fee and VAT wherever they are named.
What does equipment rental cost?
Almost every dive centre includes a 12-litre tank, weights and a belt, and almost none includes the rest of the kit. Two publish the number: Mr. Diver charges $20–25 a day for equipment and $5 a day for a personal dive computer; Aquarius charges 25 euro a day for the full set, excluding a dive computer.
On the kite side, all four schools include equipment in the lessons themselves; King of Lagoon charges 90 € a day for the full kit after the course, and Kite Addicts charges 10 EUR a day for beach access if you bring your own gear. Snorkelling gear on the catamaran is $5 per piece.

Per person, per boat, per session — the three units
Almost everything in Sharm is per person. Three products are not, and mixing them up is the most common way to misread a price. The catamaran is per boat: $600 buys the whole Elvira for up to 10 guests, so the per-head figure falls as the group grows.
Nemo's Discover Scuba Diving and the kite lessons at Kite Addicts, The Kite Bubble and King of Lagoon are per session or per package — the number does not multiply by the number of people the way a boat day does. Anar's course is per student.

Where does booking actually save money?
Two operators publish a lower online price than their walk-up price: Dive In quotes €85 web against €90 on site for the dive day and €45 against €50 for the snorkelling day. Story Divers show €90 instead of €100 with prepayment, a straight −10 %.
Cinderella's Tiran day is €40 against a list price of €50, and Temple Cruise's fishing day is £85 against the usual £100. Those are the operators' own reductions, not a marketplace discount.
Building a week's budget
A realistic week for two people who want the sea without overdoing it: one full-day snorkelling boat (€40–€45 each), one short thing like the glass boat or a parasailing flight ($13–$26 each), and either two dive days each (€70–€100 each, plus fees) or one private catamaran half day for the group ($600 for the boat). Add the marine park fee to every boat day, and equipment rental if you travel without your own.
All prices are the operators' own published figures as of 3 September 2026 and are quoted in each operator's currency. Where a fee is named without an amount, we confirm the current figure in writing before your booking.
