It was a pleasure, as always, to dive with Gagoblue. Every trip with them is a fantastic experience from start to finish. The boat was spotless, well-organised, and comfortable, while the entire crew was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
What is this tour like?
Schnuppertauchen — literally 'taste diving' — is Gagoblue's day for people without a certification. You go out on the school's boat for the full day, about eight hours, and make two dives from the boat with an instructor; the equipment, lunch and drinks and the transfer inside Hurghada are in the €50 price.
Gagoblue is a German-run dive school — the site is written in German first, and the operator states its trips are led by German-speaking instructors and experienced professional guides — with a 5.0 on Google from 1,019 reviews as of 3 September 2026. Three costs sit outside the €50 and the operator names all of them: a nature-reserve tax of €5 per day paid to the government, a dive computer at €5 per day if you want one, and €10 for transfers from El Gouna, Soma Bay, Makadi, Safaga or Sahl Hasheesh. The price list does not write 'per person' next to the Schnuppertauchen row, so we quote it as the rate for one session.
