What is this tour like?
Get your own boat for a full day out of Palma. On Charter runs a fleet of motorboats and yachts you can take with or without a licence and skipper, so you set the pace across the Bay of Palma and the south-west coast.
You cruise to the caves of Portals Vells, the islet of El Toro and countless turquoise calas, dropping anchor to swim, snorkel and stop for beach-club lunches. Pick a licence-free boat or a skippered charter to suit your group.
Important: the licence-free hire has an end date. Until 30 September 2026 a boat under 5 metres with a motor of up to 15 CV may be hired without a licence, no further than 2 nautical miles from the port, in daylight only and from the age of 18. From 1 October 2026 the person hiring the boat must hold the relevant qualification — RD 1188/2025.
