Sailing Catamaran Hire off Palm Jumeirah
Take a four-berth beach catamaran out yourself for an hour from the Palm, sails rigged and ready.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates · 1h · up to 4 guests · AED 350 per boat, one hour · EN
What is this tour like?
This is sailing at its most direct: a beach catamaran, a stretch of Palm Jumeirah water and an hour that is yours. The centre rigs the boat, walks you through the controls on the sand and pushes you off; from there the wind does the rest.
The Topcat K2X is the roomier of the two boats, with space for four adults, and it can also be sailed single-handed. Rates are per boat, so a couple or a family splits one price rather than paying per head — and if you catch the habit, five- and ten-hire packs bring the hourly rate down.
What are the highlights?
- A Topcat K2X that takes four adults, or one sailor alone
- Staff rig the boat and brief you on the beach
- Life jackets, dry bag and drinking water provided
- Open daily from nine to five
- A cheaper RS Cat 16 is available at AED 275
