What is this tour like?
Marry Merry is a Lagoon 440 sailing catamaran in the Pattaya Yacht Charters fleet, built in 2009 and running two Volvo Penta 80 HP engines when the wind is not doing the work. She cruises at around 8 knots, tops out near 12, and takes up to 20 guests for a day out of Ocean Marina Yacht Club.
The layout is what makes the boat: two large trampolines across the bow for lounging, extra seating in front of the main window, a centre flybridge with room for guests beside the captain under a large bimini, and a cockpit aft with cushioned seating for ten around a table. Inside is a wrap-around saloon with 360-degree windows, a galley with cooktop, oven, fridge-freezer and microwave, and four cabins each with its own toilet, sink and shower. Air conditioning runs throughout.
Charter blocks are published per boat: four hours, six hours, eight hours or a full twenty-four. Every charter includes the yacht rental fee, all fuel, a licensed captain, deckhands and an English-speaking steward, crew costs and snorkelling and fun-fishing equipment; a kayak and a SUP board are listed among the boat's own features. VAT at 7%, a ฿200 guest pass per person, catering, alcohol and extra activities are charged separately.
