What is this tour like?
Ang Thong is a marine park of forty-two islands an hour and a half west of Samui, and this is the standard way to see it: a speedboat day from the operator's own pier in Bangrak.
Pickup is at 08:30, the boat leaves at 09:45 and is back at 16:30. The day takes in snorkelling at the Koh Wao reef, the climb on Koh Mae Koh to look down on the Emerald Lake, kayaking along the cliffs, Koh Hin Lak and the beach at Song Pee Nong.
Transfer, a light breakfast, a Thai buffet, fruit, water, snorkelling gear, kayaks and insurance are in the price. The national park fee of 300 THB is not — budget for it separately.
