Almost everything that shows you the sea in Gran Canaria asks you to get into it. The submarine at Puerto de Mogán is the exception: you walk on dry, you sit down, and the boat takes you under. That is a narrow but real advantage, and it explains who books it.

What do you actually see?
The dive goes to an artificial reef called La Atlántida, just off the harbour: 350 structures spread over 3,000 square metres. An artificial reef is placed to give marine life something to colonise, which is why it is a reliable thing to look at — it does not move and it does not have to be found. That is the difference between this ticket and a cetacean trip, where the animals decide.

The Atlántida submarine is €38 per adult with taxes included, in a submersible with 44 seats. A free bus service from the southern zone is available on reservation, which is genuinely useful for a departure at the western end of the resort coast — give us your hotel when you book.
One line on the operator's page deserves attention. The site advertises a 10% discount for booking online, with a note that online tickets are not valid for same-day purchase. The adult price is €38 with taxes; the operator does not publish a child fare, so ask for it before you pay. If you buy on the spot on the day, the online condition does not apply to you at all.

The submarine is the option that works when someone in the group will not swim, or when the weather has taken the swimming out of the day, or when a child is too young for the try dive. It is also the one in that table that keeps you dry.
Making a day of it in Mogán
The submarine leaves from the Explanada del Castillete, the same waterfront as the Yellow Boat three-hour trip at €59 and the Aqua Fun yacht to Güigüí at €125.
