What is this tour like?
Rent your own boat from Santa Eulària and discover Ibiza at your own pace. East Boats runs licence-free motorboats ideal for families and first-timers, plus larger options with a skipper.
Follow the sheltered east coast to Cala Llonga and Es Canar, drop anchor for a swim, or point south for a Formentera crossing. No licence is needed on the small boats — just a short briefing before you go.
Important: the licence-free part has an end date. Until 30 September 2026 a boat under 5 metres with a motor of up to 15 CV may be hired without a licence, no further than 2 nautical miles from the port, in daylight only and from the age of 18. From 1 October 2026 the person hiring the boat must hold the relevant qualification — RD 1188/2025. The skippered options are not affected.
