Ibiza's coves are the reason people get on a boat here, and each trip reaches a different set of them. The west coast, the Formentera sandbanks and the sheltered east coast are three separate days, run by three different operators, at prices from €20 to €390.

What follows is which trip reaches which cove, what each one costs and how the price is counted. The unit matters as much as the number: some of these are per person, some per boat.
The west coast: caves, arches and the rock at the end
Boat Trip Salvador sails from the port of Sant Antoni south along the west coast, past the Margarita islands, sea caves and natural rock arches, to the foot of Es Vedrà. €20 per person for 3 hours, on a boat that takes up to 80.
There is a swim stop, and it is the point
The boat stops to swim and snorkel in clear turquoise water beneath the cliffs before turning back to San Antonio. It is an easy, scenic half day, and the operator points it at families, couples and first-time visitors rather than at anyone chasing a party.
The same coast under your own throttle
The other way to see this stretch is to drive it. The Es Vedrà jet-ski safari is €150 per jet ski for two hours, up to two riders, following the wild west coast past sea caves and hidden calas with a swim and photo stop beneath the rock.
How do you reach the Formentera sandbanks?
Two boats, two units. Smart Charter Ibiza crosses from Marina Ibiza and anchors off Ses Illetes at €95 per person for 6 hours, up to 12 guests. Blue Ocean Ibiza rents you the boat instead — €390 for 8 hours, up to 8.
Ses Illetes and Espalmador
Blue Ocean's day anchors off Ses Illetes or Espalmador for the first swim, then stops for lunch at a beach club or a picnic on board in a quiet cala, and works back through the west-coast coves in the afternoon. Smart Charter anchors off the same white-sand beaches with a swim platform and a SUP on hand.
Per person or per boat
The split is arithmetic. Eight people on Smart Charter's shared day are €760; the same eight on Blue Ocean's boat are €390, about €48.75 each, for two hours longer. Two people are the other way round: €190 shared against €390 for a boat you do not fill.
Which coves does the east coast have?
East Boats Ibiza rents from Santa Eulària at €250 per boat for 8 hours, up to 7 guests, and its small motorboats are licence-free after a short briefing on the controls. The route follows the sheltered east coast to Cala Llonga and Es Canar.
Sheltered is the operative word
The east coast is the calmer side, which is why the licence-free boats are based there. Tip: if anyone in the group is nervous about open water or about steering for the first time, this is the coast to start on. Formentera is available from here on request.
Where the diving happens
Santa Eulària is also where Aqua Diving Center Ibiza is based, at €75 per person for a 180-minute try-dive in groups of up to 8. The centre's boat runs out to reef and cave sites, so the east coast doubles as the way in underwater.
What happens in Sant Antoni bay?
The bay itself is the short-format coast. The Cala de Bou jet-ski ride is €70 per jet ski for 30 minutes, up to two riders, crossing the calm western side of the bay past sea caves and clear-water calas with a guide.
Lessons run from the same water
TAKEOFF Ibiza runs wakeboard, wakesurf, eFoil and Seabob sessions in the bay from €60 per session for up to 6 people. Duotone Pro Center Ibiza teaches kitesurf and wing-foil at Cala de Bou from €90 per session, for up to 4.
And the evening version
The Lady Virginia catamaran leaves San Antonio harbour to anchor in turquoise coves for a snorkel, then holds position for the sunset — €95 per person for 4 hours, up to about 20 guests, with drinks and tapas on deck.
Which cove day fits your group?

The cheapest cove and the longest day
€20 for three hours to Es Vedrà is the cheapest of the six above. The longest day is either rental at 8 hours. Between them sit the two Formentera formats, at 6 hours shared and 8 hours on your own boat.
