How much does a jet ski cost in Ibiza?
A jet ski costs €70 for 30 minutes from Cala de Bou or €150 for a two-hour guided safari to Es Vedrà. Both are priced per jet ski for up to two riders, both run with a guide and no licence, and both belong to Ibiza Jet Ski Beach.
Es Vedrà — the two-hour safari
The Es Vedrà safari costs €150 per jet ski for 120 minutes, up to 2 riders on one craft. It starts at Passeig de la Mar in Sant Antoni de Portmany and follows the wild west coast past sea caves and hidden calas.
The turn-around point is Es Vedrà, the 400 m rock that rises straight out of the Mediterranean, with a swim and photo stop beneath it. Jet ski and fuel, life jacket, insurance and the guide are included; photos, a wetsuit and transfers are add-ons.
Cala de Bou — 30 minutes for a first try
The Cala de Bou ride costs €70 per jet ski for 30 minutes, again up to 2 riders, from Carrer de Cala de Bou in Sant Josep de sa Talaia. You follow a guide across the calm western side of the bay, past sea caves and clear-water calas. Longer coastal routes are available on request.

Can you rent a boat in Ibiza without a licence?
Yes. Both of Ibiza's big rental fleets keep licence-free boats alongside larger boats and skippered charters. Both are priced per boat for a full day of 8 hours, so the cost per head drops as the group fills up.
Blue Ocean Ibiza — Marina Ibiza and Formentera
Blue Ocean Ibiza rents from Marina Ibiza at €390 per boat for 8 hours, for up to 8 guests. The fleet runs from a licence-free option to skippered motorboats and yachts. The classic day crosses to Formentera's powder-white sand, then works back through the west-coast calas with a beach-club or picnic stop.
East Boats Ibiza — Santa Eulària and the east coast
East Boats Ibiza rents from Santa Eulària at €250 per boat for the same 8-hour day, for up to 7 guests. Its small motorboats are licence-free — a short briefing on the controls and you go — with larger skippered options too. The route follows the sheltered east coast to Cala Llonga and Es Canar; Formentera is available on request.
What the operator confirms when you book

What are you actually paying for: craft, boat, session or person?
On Ibiza the price unit matters more than the number itself: there are four of them and they do not compare directly. Two mean a second person comes along for nothing extra.
Jet ski — per craft
Both jet-ski rides are priced per craft, for up to two riders. A couple pays €150 in total for the Es Vedrà safari, which is €75 each, or €70 at Cala de Bou, which is €35 each. Four people need two craft, so €300 or €140 together.
Boat rental — per boat
Both rentals are priced per boat for the day. The €390 of Blue Ocean Ibiza split between 8 guests is €48.75 each; the €250 of East Boats Ibiza split between 7 is about €36 each. Food, drinks, marina fees and transfers sit outside that headline number in both cases, and with East Boats so does fuel.
Lessons per session, diving and fishing per person
A wakeboard or eFoil session with TAKEOFF Ibiza is €60 per session with gear and coach; a kitesurf or wing-foil lesson with Duotone Pro Center Ibiza is €90 per session. Diving with Aqua Diving Center Ibiza is €75 per person for a try-dive, and the Ibizatopfishing charter is €120 per person on a shared trip.
Important
read the unit before you compare the numbers. The €150 jet-ski safari is €75 a head for two people, cheaper per person than the €120 fishing charter, even though the headline figure looks larger.

TAKEOFF Ibiza — wakeboard, wakesurf, eFoil and Seabob
TAKEOFF Ibiza runs 60-minute sessions from €60 for up to 6 people, in Sant Antoni bay. The range covers wakeboard and wakesurf behind the boat, eFoil, Seabob, towables and paddleboards, with coaching from beginner to advanced. Instructor, equipment, life jacket and the boat with fuel are included; photos, video, a wetsuit and transfers are extra.

Duotone Pro Center Ibiza — kitesurf and wing-foil
Duotone Pro Center Ibiza teaches kitesurf and wing-foil from €90 per session of 120 minutes, for groups of up to 4. Certified instructors take you from first kite handling to riding, on current Duotone gear; rentals and a gear shop are on site for independent riders. A certified instructor, kite or wing, board, harness, wetsuit, impact vest and insurance are included.

What is there to do under the surface and offshore?
Where the self-drive formats stop, two others begin: diving with Aqua Diving Center Ibiza at €75 per person and a sport-fishing charter with Ibizatopfishing at €120 per person. Both are priced per head, so a group pays per body, not per boat.
Aqua Diving Center Ibiza — the try-dive
Aqua Diving Center Ibiza is a PADI 5-star centre in Santa Eulària des Riu, with try-dives from €75 per person for 180 minutes and groups of up to 8. Beyond the first dive it runs full certification and guided fun dives for certified divers.
The diving takes in reefs, caves and UNESCO-protected Posidonia meadows, where grouper, barracuda and octopus are common sightings. Fishing in Ibiza: what you catch and what a place costs
Ibizatopfishing runs a shared charter at €120 per person for 240 minutes, up to 6 anglers, with the departure point confirmed at booking. With a local skipper you troll the blue water and bottom-fish the reefs for tuna, dentex and amberjack.
Skipper and boat, rods, reels and tackle, bait, fuel and the fishing licence for the trip are all included; food, drinks, gratuities and transfers are not. It suits beginners and keen anglers alike, and the catch can often be prepared for you. See the Ibiza fishing charter page.
How do you build a day on the water around your group?
Start from the size of the party, then pick the unit that flatters it. Two people are best served by per-craft and per-person prices; a full group of seven or eight does better on the per-boat prices.
Two people, or a full boat
For two, the €70 jet ski at Cala de Bou is €35 each and the €150 Es Vedrà safari is €75 each — the second rider adds nothing. For seven or eight, a boat is the better maths: €250 across 7 or €390 across 8 comes to about €36 or €48.75 a head for a whole 8-hour day.
Mixed groups can stack the units. Book the boat for the day, then add a €60 TAKEOFF session or a €90 Duotone lesson for whoever wants to be taught something, and let the rest swim.
