What is this tour like?
This is the trip most people mean when they say "the 4 Islands". The boat leaves Ao Nang Pier at 09:30 and is back at 15:30, and the four stops are close enough to the coast that you can see them from the beach.
Barracudas Tour runs the route two ways. The traditional longtail boat costs ฿990 for an adult and ฿750 for a child; the speedboat costs ฿1,190 and ฿950 and spends less time in transit. Everything else — the stops, the mini buffet lunch on Poda, the snorkelling gear, the English-speaking guide, accident insurance and the car from your Ao Nang hotel — is the same.
The national park entrance fee is not in the price and is paid on the day. The park's published rate for these islands is ฿400 per adult and ฿200 per child; the operator states ฿200 and ฿100, so confirm the amount when you book. Pick-up from Klong Muang, Tub Kaek or Krabi Town costs ฿100 per person extra; Railay is served by the speedboat option only, at ฿200 per person.
