What is this tour like?
The whole point of this itinerary is the clock. Pick-up starts at 05:40 in Krabi Town, Klong Muang and Tub Kaek and at 06:00 in Ao Nang; the speedboat leaves Nopparat Thara Pier at 06:30 and Maya Bay is reached at 08:10, which is well before the boats that leave at nine.
Breakfast is served on Poda Island at 07:20, with a snorkelling stop there. Maya Bay itself is a walking stop — swimming and snorkelling are not permitted in the bay — and the water stops follow at Pileh Lagoon and Phi Phi Leh. Lunch is a Thai buffet at Arida restaurant on Phi Phi Don, all of it halal, and the afternoon covers Bamboo Island, Chicken Island and the Talay Waek sandbar before the boat returns at 15:30.
The price is ฿2,395 per adult and ฿2,195 per child aged 4 to 11; infants aged 1 to 3 go free. National park fees are extra, at ฿400 per adult and ฿200 per child.
