What is this tour like?
The difference between this and a standard Hong Island day is the passenger count. Krabi Vip Tour takes a maximum of twelve people on the boat, which changes how long you get at each stop and how much of the guide's attention there is to go round.
The route starts at Koh Hong itself — white sand, shallow turquoise water — then slips into the Hong Lagoon through a narrow opening in the cliffs. Koh Lao Lading follows, a small beach under limestone walls, then Koh Rai for quiet swimming, and finally Koh Nok, where a short hike leads to a panoramic viewpoint over the sea and the surrounding islands.
The price is ฿2,500 for an adult and ฿1,800 for a child, and the operator lists it as already containing the ฿300 per-person national park fee, along with accident insurance to one million baht, an English-speaking guide, mask and life jacket, lunch on the beach and drinks, snacks and fruit. Transfers are free from Ao Nang hotels at 07:30; from Krabi Town, Railay or Klong Muang they cost ฿500 per person.
