What is this tour like?
Scuba Life Malta is a PADI 5 Star dive centre in Mellieħa, five minutes from Cirkewwa, running small, friendly groups. Most people start with Discover Scuba Diving to try it out: in half a day you get a short briefing, practise basic skills and make one supervised shallow dive from shore. No experience or certification is needed; the minimum age is 10.
The dive site depends on the weather: the centre may change the site when sea state or visibility require it. Before the activity you complete the PADI medical statement; if any answer is yes, you need a doctor's written approval to dive.
Discover Scuba Diving Plus (€155, half or full day) adds a second guided dive at a different site. Children from 8 can try Bubble Maker (€80, 1 hour): a supervised pool session in water no deeper than 2 m. If you want to certify, the next step is the 3-day PADI Open Water Diver course (€540).
