What is this tour like?
Hera Cruises takes its Turkish gullet Hera all the way around Malta. You leave Sliema Ferries at 09:30 and cruise close to the shore, past villages and coastal sights including the Dingli Cliffs, to the first swim stop at Fomm il-Riħ, which the operator describes as unspoilt. Lunch is served on board.
The gullet then heads to Comino and the Blue Lagoon, where it berths stern-to and you have free time to swim, sunbathe and snorkel. On the way back you pass Mellieħa Bay, St. Paul's Islands, Qawra and St. Julian's, reaching Sliema at about 18:00.
The adult price includes water and soft drinks all day, Maltese ftira in the morning and a Maltese buffet lunch with beer and wine. On board there are freshwater showers, toilets, sun mats, a saloon with a bar serving snacks and drinks, a shaded canopy and swimming ladders on both sides. To go ashore at the Blue Lagoon you need a government access pass obtained in advance (afternoon slot); passes are limited, and without one you stay on board.
