What is this tour like?
Lembongan Trip is a local operator based in Jungutbatu on Nusa Lembongan that runs snorkelling day trips for guests staying on mainland Bali. Its Package B is built around the mantas: after a morning pickup and a 35-minute fast boat from Sanur, the group snorkels 3 spots, starting with Manta Bay, where reef mantas come to feed, then Toyapakeh Wall or Crystal Bay for coral and reef fish, and Mangrove Point. Certified guides and boat captains run the water part; masks, snorkels, fins and life jackets are provided.
After snorkelling comes an Indonesian lunch and a quiet 30-minute ride through the Lembongan mangroves in a traditional boat, then the boat back to Sanur and the drive to your hotel. The price is IDR 1,200,000 per adult and IDR 875,000 per child aged 4–12, minimum 2 people. Transfers are free from Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Petitenget, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Sanur and Denpasar; Ubud, Canggu, Padang Bai, Balangan, Bingin, Uluwatu and Tanah Lot carry a small surcharge the operator does not publish. Mantas are wild animals and are not guaranteed.
