What is this tour like?
This is the long tour at Jetski Fuerteventura's Corralejo base: an hour and a half on the water, roughly fifty kilometres, with about thirty minutes of check-in and briefing before departure. The route is a complete circumnavigation of Isla de Lobos, the uninhabited volcanic island north of Fuerteventura, protected as a natural park since 1982.
The operator names what you pass: the Punta Martiño lighthouse at the northern tip, the tidal pools of Las Lagunitas, Playa de la Concha, the strait between Lobos and Fuerteventura, and Montaña La Caldera, the 127-metre extinct volcano. Two stops break the ride — the first, usually in a sheltered bay, is the longer one with mask and snorkel provided; the second is shorter, a break and a chance to photograph the island from a standstill.
The price is per machine: 145 € solo, 160 € for two sharing one jet ski, and on a Double the driver can be swapped mid-tour. Included are the jet ski for the ninety minutes, the briefing in English and Spanish, life jacket and safety kit, snorkelling gear at the stops, the guide on the water, third-party liability insurance and free parking. The operator also states that its Isla de Lobos tours include drinks and snacks at the stops. There is no hotel pick-up, and free cancellation runs to 24 hours before.
