Private Siamese Junk Boat Charter — Up to 8 Hours, Krabi
The whole junk boat for your group: up to 33 guests, up to eight hours, rooftop jumps, snorkelling, paddleboards and a Thai buffet.
Krabi, Thailand · 8h · up to 33 guests · ฿90,000 per boat · EN · ES · TH
Every time I plan a trip to Thailand I want to come back for this cruise. I've done many cruise tours in Krabi but nothing compares. You won't be stuck staring at strangers in a cramped speedboat — there is tons of space to spread out.
What is this tour like?
Krabi Sunset Cruises run a single Siamese junk boat, and this booking takes it off the shared-cruise schedule and hands it to your group. Up to 33 guests and up to eight hours of exclusive use, with the departure time set to suit whatever you are marking — a proposal, a wedding day, a birthday, or simply a day without strangers on deck.
The deck has room to spread out, there is a roof to jump from into the water below, and the boat carries premium snorkelling gear for everyone plus paddleboards and a kayak. A Thai buffet is served on board, soft drinks and water are included, and the bar is stocked for anything stronger — or you can bring your own. National park fees, taxes and full insurance are already in the price.
The charter costs ฿90 000 (about $2 493) (about $2,490) total for the boat, and the operator publishes the arithmetic that follows: with the full 33 guests that works out at about ฿2,700 a head. In high season, from November to April, you reach the junk boat by a short longtail ride from the beach — roughly seven minutes from Ao Nang, two from Railay — so wear something you do not mind wading in.
