Two Guided Shore Dives at Cape Greco — Poseidon Dive Centre, Protaras
Two guided dives at the sites around Cape Greco National Park, 105 € per person with full equipment and guiding — against 65 € for a single dive. No boat is involved: the centre says all its local sites are shore dives, and you jump in the car rather than on a boat. Divers wanting more depth can swap in two wreck dives on the Liberty and the Nemesis for 145 €.

What is this tour like?
This is the everyday product of a Cypriot dive centre: a guided day of two dives at the local sites, gear and guide included, 105 € a head. It is the middle rung of Poseidon's fun-dive block — one dive is 65 €, two are 105 €, and the wreck and museum lines sit either side of it.
The diving is around Cape Greco National Park, which the centre describes as never-ending marine life, coral and rock formations, with calm shallow water for beginners and wrecks for the more adventurous. And it is all done from the beach. The centre is blunt about this on both its price page and its fitness page: all the local sites are shore dives, so there is no boat and no boat fee — you jump in the car, and jump in the water.
That matters for who this suits. The fitness page asks you to be able to walk about fifty metres from the parking slot down to the sea at every site except Green Bay and Crystal, and warns that the path can be rocky terrain. If you are unsure, the centre offers to send pictures and videos of the entries before you commit.
Everything else about the day is standard and stated. On arrival you fill in a customer record, liability releases and a PADI Medical Statement; a yes to any medical question means a physician's authorisation before you dive. All rental gear is at the centre. Insurance is not required — the centre says you do not need it but that it is a good idea, and it only presses the point for the Zenobia.
If two shallow shore dives are not enough diving, the same list steps up in two directions. Two local wreck dives on the Liberty and the Nemesis are 145 €; the centre says both are ten minutes away by boat and you must be certified to dive to thirty metres. The MUSAN sculpture museum off Ayia Napa is 75 € for a single dive. And the Zenobia — 160 € for two dives — should be read for what it is: the wreck lies off Larnaca, in another town, and the centre recommends a 65 € check deep dive first if you have not dived within a year.
One last practical fact the centre publishes and most do not: the season in Protaras runs generally from mid-April to the end of the first week of November.

- Forms and gear at the shop
Customer record, liability releases and a PADI Medical Statement, then the rental set — full equipment is part of this price line.
- Drive to the first site
All the local sites are shore entries around Cape Greco. Expect to walk about fifty metres from the parking to the water at most of them, over ground the centre warns can be rocky.
- First guided dive
A guided dive at one of the sites the centre picks around the national park, chosen for the group and the conditions.
- Second guided dive
The second of the two dives in the 105 € line, usually at a different site. Divers with a thirty-metre certification can instead take the 145 € wreck pair on the Liberty and the Nemesis.
What's included in the price?
- Two guided dives on the same day, as the “2x Local Shore Dive” line states

- A guide in the water at the local Cape Greco sites
What's not included?
- Wreck diving on the Liberty and the Nemesis — a separate 145 € line for two dives, requiring certification to 30 metres
- The MUSAN museum dive — its own 75 € line
- The Zenobia — 160 € for two dives, and a trip to Larnaca rather than a local site
- Dive insurance, which the centre advises but does not require for local diving
