Best Dive shop in Cancun! The most friendly and knowledgeable instructors - dive masters - captain - crew and staff! They have very clean and high quality equipment ! After the wonderful dive experience they have wash tanks for your equipment, showers and even a pool to take a dip in! I have around 40 dives with Manta and have dove with many other companies in the area before I found Manta. I wouldn't recommend any other shop, Manta is by far the best I have found. What is this tour like?
Manta Dive & Snorkel works out of Marina del Rey at Km 15.6 of the Hotel Zone. This is its afternoon snorkel: check-in is at 12:30, and the boat heads out to MUSA, the Cancún underwater museum, and a nearby reef. The sculptures sit only a few metres down in clear water, so a mask and snorkel are enough to see them; an in-water guide keeps the group together and points out what to look at.
It runs on the same boat as the operator's MUSA scuba divers, so certified divers and snorkellers can come out together. Mask, fins, vest, refreshments and every marine-park and dock fee are in the $75; a GoPro rental and a photo package cost extra. The operator does not publish the length of the trip beyond calling it a half day.
What are the highlights?

- Shallow, calm water: the statues are only a few metres down
- An in-water guide with every group
