My husband and I along with our children booked this excursion. We were able to make some unforgettable experiences. We started with a catamaran tour, snorkeling and then was taken to Isla Mujeres. This tour allowed 3 hours on the island to tour, shop and swim. The crew aboard was amazing and so good with our kids also. They give the adults bottomless drinks and the kids juice or water. We were with Ivett. She was very knowledgeable was able to explain everything in multiple languages and was very fun and entertaining. I would highly recommend this company and don’t forget to ask for Ivett.
What is this tour like?
Cancun Sailing runs four shared catamaran tours to Isla Mujeres, and the Full Experience is the one the operator packs with the most: lunch aboard, the top-tier open bar it calls Privilege, a snorkel stop at El Meco reef, two and a half hours of free time on the island and a coupon for an hour of open bar at IXI Beach. The tour lasts five hours. You are collected from your hotel or from a meeting point near your rental, and board at Marina Punta Norte by Playa Mujeres or at Marina Las Perlas at Km 2.5 of the Hotel Zone. The operator's comparison chart puts up to 50 passengers on the boat, with a bilingual guide and crew in English and Spanish.
The price needs a word. The page shows $129 crossed out and $97 per adult, with no condition attached; its booking box then offers $77 per adult and $53 per child aged 5 to 11 for bookings made eight or more days ahead, labelled 40% off. Children under five travel free. The $20 federal dock and reef fee, which some Cancún tours collect in cash at the pier, is already included here. Two limits matter for families: snorkelling is not allowed for children under 10 or for people over 60, and everyone who snorkels must be able to swim.

“Incredible catamaran snorkeling experience!!! The boat was very spacious and smooth ride allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful views to Isla Mujeres. Our lead tour guide Noah was great and showed us beautiful fish during our snorkeling portion. All crew on the boat were super nice and accommodating, ensuring everyone’s safety. If you are looking for a cancun boat tour choose this company!!!”
“The catamaran crew was friendly and the atmosphere during the trip was fine. However, something I didn't like was the photos. There were people offering to take your photos "with no obligation", but at the end of the trip they were selling them for about 80 dollars. I saw several tourists surprised by the price and annoyed by how it was handled, so it would be good if they were clearer from the start. In the snorkelling part I think they need to improve the organisation. Many people come expecting to enjoy that experience, but the swim to the snorkel point is quite long and the group feels rushed because the team is trying to keep to a schedule. I think they should be more patient and organise that part of the tour better. The buffet-style food on arrival at Isla Mujeres is good, it does the job. What could improve is the waiters' service. It's understandable that it's a tourist place and tips matter, but the service should be good regardless of that”
“Excellent trip, you get everything: snorkelling, beach, catamaran, good food & drink, fun, and you can visit Isla Mujeres. The whole crew was wonderful, attentive, looking out for us and fun. 100% recommended.”
