What is this tour like?
A place on the boat rather than the whole boat: five hours of bottom and drift fishing out of Corralejo with captain Pichón on the Faeton 910 Moraga, tackle, licence, insurance and drinks in the price. €95 per person, six places per departure, out at 08:00.
This is the entry point to fishing on the north of Fuerteventura. The operator, a small Corralejo company built around the Faeton 910 Moraga and its captain, sells this trip by the seat: six places go on each 08:00 departure, and you book one or two of them instead of chartering the boat. On the water the plan is bottom fishing or drift fishing for whatever the ground gives, and the captain hands out all the tackle — rods, reels and rigs are his.
The boat is a Faeton 910: 9.20 m of hull with a deep-V bottom, two 190 hp diesel engines, a wide unobstructed cockpit and a walk-around deck with heavy stainless pulpits, which is what makes it a workable platform for six anglers rather than a day-boat with rods on board. The operator's own description of the ground is that the continental shelf sits a few miles out from Corralejo, that four tuna species pass through these waters at different times of the year, and that blue and white marlin are a possibility for those who can fight one.
The price is €95 per person, shown by the operator against a €105 full price. A deposit of €23.75 per place is taken online and the balance is settled on the day. Rods, reels and tackle, insurance, the fishing licence and drinks are all in the price; the operator states plainly that there are no extra fees or fuel surcharges and that tax is included. Departure and return are at the Corralejo dock at 08:00, and the operator asks you to check availability on WhatsApp before booking.
What are the highlights?
- A single place on the boat, so a solo angler or a pair pays for two seats and not for a whole charter
- Rods, reels and tackle come from the captain — nothing to carry to the dock
- The fishing licence is included in the price, so no paperwork of your own
- The Faeton 910 Moraga is a 9.20 m deep-V boat on two 190 hp diesels — built for the channel, not for the harbour

“We had a shared fishing trip for 5 people with Pichon, it was fantastic. The boat is very well kept. The fishing was great, we all had fish, including yellowfin tuna, Atlantic tuna, red snapper and barracuda. Pichon is a passionate Spanish fisherman who is fast and direct with his instructions. The sandwich was great too! We would recommend and plan to fish with him again soon.”
“A lovely experience in its simplicity, organised very well. There were only four passengers, the captain and one hand, plenty of room for everyone. The fish are not remote-controlled and kept us waiting, but we all came back happy with our catch. Worth doing again.”
