Private Five-Hour Sport-Fishing Charter from Morro Jable — You Set the Plan
Five hours out of Morro Jable, the big-game port on the south of Fuerteventura, with the boat to your group: €400 for the charter, up to four people, hotel transfer, snack and drinks in the price. On a private charter it is you who decides the fishing plan, and the captain advises by season and forecast.
Fuerteventura, Spain · 5h · up to 4 guests · €400 per boat · ES
Out with Victor for the fourth time today, this time fishing for wahoo. As always so far a great experience, with two fish landed inside the five hours. Value for money is top, he is extremely friendly, and he explains everything so well even to someone like me with no fishing experience at all that with his help I managed to bring two medium (to me, enormous) fish aboard. I can recommend Victor and what he offers without reservation.

Morro Jable is where the island's deep-water fishing works from, and this operator's page is unusually frank about what swims past and when. In summer, he writes, there is blue marlin, white marlin, wahoo, dorado, small tunas and barracuda. The big tunas pass twice a year: first the skipjack, bonito and yellowfin of 15–25 kg in February, then a month later the bluefin and bigeye of 200–300 kg; around September the skipjack come through again, followed by yellowfin and then bigeye and bluefin. His own conclusion is that deep-sea fishing is a good option all year round, with the honest rider that this kind of fishing does not always produce a fish — but that when a rod does go off, it is a good one.
What the private charter buys is the decision. Book the boat privately and you set the plan for the day; the captain will recommend one kind of fishing or another depending on the season and the forecast, and he says outright that with children aboard it may be better to look for small tunas near the coast and fish the bottom for a few hours. The boat can also be taken out for jigging or spinning. There is no fixed timetable: dawn departures are possible and, in his words, thoroughly recommended, as are evening ones that come back after dark.
The price is €400 for five hours private, printed by the operator directly against €100 per person for the shared version of the same trip. The maximum is four people. Transfer, snack and drinks are included in the price. Bookings go through the site's form, by phone or by WhatsApp on a line the operator says is answered around the clock.

“Yesterday my son and I booked a private deep-sea fishing trip. It was a great experience with a very successful catch. The trip was run very professionally and our captain Victor guided us expertly. I would like to thank Victor once more for a lovely morning. I can strongly recommend this company to anyone interested.”
“One of the best experiences we have had on the island, all the more so sharing it with a captain like Víctor, who as well as making you feel at home makes you feel completely safe. I had never been so far out to sea and the experience was incredible. Safety, good treatment — and if you are as lucky as we were you can even try for a blue marlin: what a fight we had with that fish. It is absolutely worth it and we will certainly be back. He provides snacks, drinks and snorkelling gear, and he gave us more time than we had agreed so we could enjoy it.”
