Private Boat Trip with a Skipper — Morro Jable, Fuerteventura
Three hours out of Puerto de Morro Jable on the Quicksilver 7.55 Weekend with the operator's own skipper — your plan rather than a programme: the Jandía coast, an anchor stop for a swim, fishing or wakeboard if you want it. €300 for the boat for one to four people, €50 for each extra person, with fuel, drinks, snacks and the hotel transfer inside the price.

Driving a motorboat without a licence? Here, with Victor, no problem. Getting in touch was extremely easy and quick. Victor is a great person, relaxed and funny. After a short safety briefing we were straight out on the water. It was genuinely beautiful and a great experience. I will recommend it and will hire from Victor again on my next stay on Fuerteventura. Many thanks, Victor.
What is this tour like?
Three hours out of Puerto de Morro Jable on the Quicksilver 7.55 Weekend with the operator's own skipper — your plan rather than a programme: the Jandía coast, an anchor stop for a swim, fishing or wakeboard if you want it. €300 for the boat for one to four people, €50 for each extra person, with fuel, drinks, snacks and the hotel transfer inside the price.
The boat is the operator's largest: a Quicksilver 7.55 Weekend with a Mercury 200 Verado, built in December 2016 and launched on 15 July 2017, homologated for nine people. It has a heads, a solarium on the bow, a table with seats in the cockpit and another inside the cabin, an autopilot and a helm seat adjustable in three directions. Rent a Boat Fuerteventura runs it out of the port of Morro Jable and calls the trip exclusive in the plain sense: your party only, no clients from other hotels mixed in.
There is no fixed itinerary. The operator writes that the client decides the plan at every moment, including taking the helm, how far from the coast to go, which way to head and when and where to anchor; the skipper recommends the order to follow depending on the sea state and the length of the trip. Departure and return hours are yours too — the same page offers a full moon, a sunset or a sunrise. Drinks on board are cava, beer, alcohol-free beer, shandy, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Nestea and still or sparkling water, and anything else — wine, rum, whisky, vodka — is prepared if you ask when booking.
The price on the operator's private-excursion page is €300 for the boat for a three-hour trip with one to four people, and €50 for each extra person. Fuel, drinks, snacks and the transfer from and back to the hotel are included, as is occupant accident insurance. One caveat worth knowing before you phone: the operator's wakeboard page prints a different table for the same three hours — €250 for one to three, €350 for four to five, €500 for six to seven — so confirm the figure for your group when you book.
Important: until 30 September 2026 the same operator also let its small Voraz 3.85 open with a 15 hp Mercury go out with no licence at all — €200 for three hours, €250 for five, €300 for eight, plus fuel and a €300 deposit, four people, daylight only and no further than one nautical mile from the coast. From 1 October 2026 RD 1188/2025 keeps that exception for private and sporting use only, so a bareboat hire now needs a qualification from the person renting: the operator's own wording is that the renter needs «como mínimo el PNB; Patrón para la navegación básica». With a skipper aboard the question does not arise at all.
What are the highlights?
- A skipper is aboard, so the rule change of 1 October 2026 asks nothing of you
- Fuel, drinks, snacks and the transfer from and back to your hotel are inside the price
- No programme: you choose the route, the anchorages and the departure hour
- The same boat does snorkelling, sport fishing and wakeboard — say so when you book
- A Quicksilver 7.55 Weekend with a heads, a bow solarium and a cabin table, homologated for nine

- —Hotel pick-up and boarding at Morro Jable
The transfer from and back to the hotel is in the price; the boat lies in Puerto del Morro Jable.
- —Along the Jandía coast, with the helm on offer
The skipper suggests the order of the day by the sea state; the operator says guests may take the wheel.
- —Anchor stop: swim, snorkel, drinks and snacks
You decide when and where to anchor; drinks and snacks are already paid for.
- —Fishing, wakeboard or nothing at all
Tell the operator at booking what you want to do, so the gear is aboard and the day is picked by the forecast.
- —Back to the pontoon at Morro Jable
Three hours by the published price; the operator has no fixed timetable and agrees the hours with you.

“I recommend it. The boat is very clean and in good order, ideal for a trip with the whole family. The whole team is very nice and helpful. The boss speaks English and the man on the pontoon also speaks German. The hire price is fair and the final settlement was faultless. On Fuerteventura this is the only place of its kind where you can hire a boat without a skipper and go out on your own trip.”
“100% recommend to lend a boat from Victor when being on Fuerteventura on vacation. Easy to get in contact and a very special experience. Victor is very kind, totally worth the money.”
