Phuket Luxury Longtail Boat Charter — Private, by the Boat (Boat and Beyond)
A traditional longtail rebuilt as a private lounge boat: ฿9,900 for a half day to the Kai Islands, ฿18,900–21,900 for a full day to James Bond, Hong or Phi Phi. The price is for the boat — four guests inside it, eight at most — and departure is from Yamu Pier.

We did a half-day tour to the Kai Islands. The islands were calm and not busy — we heard Phi Phi was crowded and chaotic, so we are very glad we chose these. Our guides Nadia and Thor made us a wonderful lunch on the boat and really pay attention to details.
What is this tour like?
Boat and Beyond took the longtail — the wooden Thai workboat everybody has seen from a shared ferry — and rebuilt it as something you charter for your own group. There are no shared departures: the boat is yours, and the price is for the hull, not the head.
The short version is ฿9,900 for a half day to the Kai Islands, morning or afternoon, calling at Kai Nui for snorkelling, Kai Nok for the sand and Rang Yai for a picnic set up on the beach. Full days leave at 08:30 and return at 18:30: ฿18,900 for James Bond Island and the Phang Nga caves, ฿19,900 for Hong Island, ฿21,900 for Phi Phi and Maya Bay. The same routes exist on the operator's premium speedboat, if a longtail's pace is not what you want.
Read the capacity carefully: the longtail's base price covers four passengers and the boat takes eight, so guests five to eight are charged individually and we confirm that amount for your route. Marine park entry on the James Bond and Phi Phi routes and the hotel car are also outside the price. Boats leave from Yamu Pier and the Phuket branch office is in Pa Khlok, ten minutes away.
