Phuket Power Catamaran Charter — Shibuli 40ft (Tiger Marine Charter)
A 40-foot Leopard power catamaran taken whole: ฿59,000 for a four-hour half day, ฿73,000–89,000 for eight hours depending on season. Up to 10 guests in the price, 15 on board, and the operator publishes the fuel surcharge for every destination instead of hiding it.
Phuket, Thailand · 4h · up to 15 guests · ฿59,000 per boat, half day (4 h) · EN
Shibuli 40 — the team was JJ the captain, Ling the host and chef, and Tha the boat engineer. From accommodating what we wanted to do, to the food, the service, the beautiful catamaran, the private beach and dinner on the beach, it was the highlight of our first trip to Thailand.
What is this tour like?
Tiger Marine charter their own vessels: Shangani 70, Zambezia 53, Sanyati 51, Shashani 43, Shibuli 40 and the little Axopar speedboat Limpopo. Shibuli is the 40-foot Leopard power catamaran — three cabins, a shaded flybridge, room for the watersports kit, and 15 guests maximum.
The rate is for the hull. A half-day charter is four hours and costs ฿59,000 all year. A full day is eight hours and moves with the season: ฿73,000 from 1 May to 31 October, ฿79,000 from 16 January to 30 April and again from 1 November to 14 December, ฿89,000 over the 15 December – 15 January peak. Both rates cover up to 10 guests; guests 11 to 15 are ฿2,000 each. There is no hourly rate, so four hours at ฿59,000 is the smallest thing you can buy.
The honest complication is fuel. Tiger Marine publish a surcharge table by destination rather than folding it into the headline: +฿10,000 for Phang Nga Bay, Khai, Maiton and Rang Yai, +฿23,000 for Phang Nga Bay with Hong Krabi, +฿35,000 for Phi Phi, Krabi Poda or Racha Yai, +฿38,000 for Racha Noi. Add that to the charter rate and you have the real number before you talk to anyone.

“Just spent a full day on the Shashani Leopard 43ft power catamaran and had the best time. The crew were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. All the water toys — slide, paddle board, floating pool — were so much fun, and lunch was incredibly delicious.”
