Transport actually came early and we were on the boat by 6am. Sara gave us a quick brief and we watched the sunrise on the way to Maya beach. The beach was pretty empty and the breakfast was good with plenty of food.
What is this tour like?
The whole point of this tour is the hour you gain. The boat leaves Boat Lagoon Marina at 06:00 and is at Maya Bay by about 07:15 — the day boats from Phuket arrive later, and the group leaves again around 08:30.
After the bay the route runs to Pileh Lagoon, two snorkelling reefs chosen by the conditions on the day, past Viking Cave and Monkey Beach, and finishes at Bamboo Island or Koh Rang Yai.
National park fees, hotel pickup along the main Phuket tourist coast, a light breakfast, a buffet lunch, drinks and snorkelling gear are all in the price. Alcohol is not allowed on board.
