Private Sunset Catamaran off Lobos — the Whole Boat from €500, Twelve or Twenty Guests
FuerteCharter's sunset run taken privately: two and a half hours from Corralejo to the anchorage off Playa de La Concha, with kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling, cava and unlimited drinks. €500 for the twelve-guest catamaran, €800 for the twenty-guest one — per boat, not per person.
Fuerteventura, Spain · 2h 30min · up to 12 guests · €500 per boat for the private sunset charter on the Sunset 12, up to twelve guests · EN · ES · DE · IT · FR
An unforgettable adventure. We hired the catamaran for our group of eleven — we hesitated a little beforehand, because the sum was considerably higher than for the standard trip, that is in a bigger group with strangers. But the price was 100% worth it: both the children and the adults had a wonderful time. Gregg and Pedro as crew looked after the comfort of our trip — thank you again, they did a first-rate job. This is our best memory from the trip to Fuerteventura.
What is this tour like?
FuerteCharter's sunset run taken privately: two and a half hours from Corralejo to the anchorage off Playa de La Concha, with kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling, cava and unlimited drinks. €500 for the twelve-guest catamaran, €800 for the twenty-guest one — per boat, not per person.
The operator sells this as two products, Catamarán Privado Sunset 12 and Sunset 20, with the same text and the same 18:45 departure. What separates them is the boat and therefore the ceiling: the 12 sails on a Lagoon 400 or a Lagoon 440, both of which the operator's fleet pages give a capacity of twelve; the 20 sails on the Lagoon 421, capacity twenty. The price follows the boat and not the guest list, which is the point of chartering — twelve friends on the Sunset 12 work out at under €42 each, six friends at €83.
The programme is the operator's standard sunset sailing, which it describes for the romantics who want to see the sunset as they never have. You sail toward Lobos with music on and stop in the south at the sheltered anchorage off Playa de La Concha. There are two single kayaks and two paddle boards aboard, and snorkelling gear for looking at the protected park underwater. Then the boat holds position: mattresses on the wide deck, drinks the operator calls unlimited throughout — soft drinks, beer, white and red wine, water, coffee and tea — and cava with a fruit brochette. The crew photographs the whole trip and underwater photographs are included.
Two practical notes. First, the sunset charter does not land on Lobos; it anchors off it. On the Sunset 12 the operator offers a water taxi as a paid extra of €60 precisely so a group can go ashore, and that is the moment when the island's free named authorisation becomes your problem — the operator's own wording on its other Lobos products is that you must request the permit at lobospass.com, so ask it to confirm how the extra is handled before you count on walking the islet.
Second, the departure is a single one, at 18:45, the same slot as its shared sunset trips. A private charter here buys you the boat and the guest list, not a different hour.
