A superb cruise on the L44. The best crew — a round of applause for Kate and the captain. Plenty of laughter and unforgettable impressions despite the weather not being at its best. Thank you.
What is this tour like?
An 18:45 sailing from Corralejo to the sheltered anchorage off Playa de La Concha, with snorkelling, two kayaks, two paddle boards, cava and unlimited drinks, and the sunset from a deck laid with mattresses. €50 per adult, €35 per child aged 2 to 11.
Two and a half hours is short for a catamaran trip, and this one spends them deliberately. The operator describes sailing towards the island of Lobos with good music on and stopping in the south, at what it calls the paradisiacal and sheltered anchorage of Playa de La Concha. That anchorage is the whole middle of the trip: anyone who wants to can take one of the two kayaks or two paddle boards, or put on a mask and look at the water of a protected natural park.
Then the boat stays put for the part it is named after. The deck is wide and laid with mattresses, the drinks — soft drinks, beer, white and red wine, water, coffee and tea — run without limit for the whole excursion, and cava with a fruit brochette comes round. The crew photographs throughout, and underwater photographs are on the list of what is included, which is unusual enough to be worth noting: on most boats those cost extra.
It is a family-shaped version of the trip, and the operator says so: it sells the child fare from two to eleven and describes the excursion as something to enjoy with your family, snorkelling, toasting and relaxing. Its sister product, the Sunset Luxury, is the adults-only one.
The boat is not fixed. The operator assigns two catamarans to this excursion, a Lagoon 500 and a Lagoon 421, which its own fleet pages list with capacities of thirty and twenty — so the number of people around you depends on which one sails, and the operator does not promise either.
One thing this trip is not: a landing on Lobos. It anchors off the islet, and the operator's booking system does not run the Isla de Lobos authorisation step for it — there is no permit to arrange, and no walk ashore either.
What are the highlights?

- Drinks are unlimited throughout, and cava with a fruit brochette is part of the fare
- Snorkelling, two kayaks and two paddle boards at the anchorage off La Concha
- The crew photographs the whole trip, underwater shots included, and the photographs are part of what you pay for
