Magic Deluxe — a Twelve-Guest Lagoon 450S Catamaran from Morro Jable
Four hours along the Jandía coast on a Lagoon 450S that takes just twelve guests: an anchorage by the Jandía natural park for a swim, a two-course lunch by a Jandía chef served at the stern table, and a premium open bar with cava. €99 per adult, €60 per child aged 2 to 11, babies under two free, departing from Morro Jable harbour.

We did the Magic Deluxe tour with Javier and Lukas and we were thrilled from start to finish. The two of them were incredibly friendly and attentive and turned the whole trip into something special. The atmosphere on board was relaxed and professional but also very family-like — you felt comfortable from the first moment. The food side was right too: the meal was great and the choice of drinks enormous. Especially nice: we were even allowed to swim, and the crew kept an eye on every passenger, our children in particular. Another highlight was the wildlife: we saw flying fish and dolphins. It was good to see how much care went into protecting the animals — they deliberately kept their distance and did not linger too long near them.

Magic Deluxe is the small boat in the Magic & Sailing fleet and the reason to pick it is the number twelve. At 13.96 metres long and 7.87 in the beam it is a fraction of the size of the big party catamarans, and the operator sells it on exactly that: a more intimate trip, wide decks with shaded corners, and the feeling of an almost private charter rather than a crowded tour.
The route runs south-west from Morro Jable along the Jandía coastline — golden beaches, volcanic cliffs and coves that are hard to reach from land. Dolphins turn up often and whales occasionally, always in open water and never guaranteed; the crew keeps its distance and asks guests to do the same. The catamaran then anchors near the Jandía natural park for a swim in the Atlantic before lunch is served.
That lunch is the other half of the pitch. It comes from one of Jandía's chefs and runs to Mediterranean couscous with roasted vegetables and fresh tzatziki, then roast beef tenderloin with aromatic herbs, mushroom sauce and confit potatoes; the meat-free alternative is a Mozarabic vegetable burger with Zahara-style infused rice. A premium open bar of cava, white and rosé wine, cold beer, water and soft drinks runs alongside. Allergies must be flagged at least 48 hours ahead so the galley can adapt.
A place costs €99 for an adult, €60 for a child aged two to eleven, and nothing for babies under two; hotel transport and a guide are included. With only twelve places on board, the operator's advice to book early in high season is not marketing filler.
What are the highlights?
- A Lagoon 450S that carries just twelve guests — the operator calls it the only one of its kind on the island
- Lunch by a Jandía chef: Mediterranean couscous, then roast beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce and confit potatoes
- A premium open bar with cava, white and rosé wine, cold beer, water and soft drinks
- Anchorage near the Jandía natural park, so the swim stop is in a bay rather than in open sea

“We had an absolutely fantastic trip with Magic Sailing! Adan and Franco were the perfect crew – friendly, attentive and always in a great mood. With only 12 people on board, the trip felt very relaxed and personal and was definitely worth the money. The boat was clean, the drinks were ice-cold, the food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the time we had for swimming in the sea. The absolute highlight was seeing both dolphins and whales! The whole trip and all explanations were in English, which was absolutely fine for us.”
“Amazing experience. I would highly recommend it. We went as family of four on 12 persons catamaran. Cold drinks and lunch is included. Lunch was lovely we had steak with mushroom sauce and potatoes, for starter we had couscous. We were lucky enough to see dolphins but it's not guaranteed. Special thank you to the staff Jose Wis and Ailin.”
