Boat Snorkelling on the Jandía Coast — Two Hours from Morro Jable (Fuerteventura Buceo)
A dive centre's snorkelling trip rather than a beach rental: two hours on the boat, one of them guided in the water, at spots chosen along the Jandía coast. 40 € per person with the full snorkelling kit, drinks and snacks on board; 7 % IGIC is added. Suitable for all ages, and one person in the group can swap to a try dive on the same trip.
Fuerteventura, Spain · 2h · €40 per person for the two-hour boat trip with 1 hour of guided snorkelling, full kit included · ES · EN
From the first moment they made me feel at home. The whole team is very kind and very professional, so I felt safe at all times. The boat is perfect, with everything you need to be comfortable. Between dives they offer coffee and something to eat, a detail that makes the difference. The marine life is spectacular.
What is this tour like?
Fuerteventura Buceo is a dive centre first, and this trip is what its boat does when the people on board are not carrying tanks. The excursion runs about two hours in total, of which one hour is guided snorkelling in spots the crew picks along the Jandía coast on the day.
The centre pitches it as a family outing — comfortable, accessible, suitable for all ages — and the practical reason it works that way is the boat. The same Diving my Life that takes divers to the Veril has hot-water showers, toilets, a dry area for belongings and a café service, so a child who gets cold has somewhere to go. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are included.
On what you might see, the operator is honest about the difference between usual and lucky: a wide variety of fish and rays is described as common, and the angel shark as something you see “with a bit of luck”. Fuerteventura Buceo does not publish a season for them; another island dive centre, Punta Amanay in Corralejo, puts the better angel-shark window between November and February, which is worth knowing if that is what you came for.
One feature makes this useful for a mixed group: a Try Dive can be added on the same excursion, so one person can go under with an instructor while the others stay on the surface. That is a separate booking at 105 €, not part of the 40 €. The snorkelling price covers a professional guide, the full snorkelling equipment, the fully equipped boat, drinks and snacks; the 7 % IGIC is added on top.
