What is this tour like?
This is the first-dive programme at Fuerteventura Buceo in Morro Jable, and the shape of it is the thing worth knowing before you book: it is a sea dive from the centre's boat, not a pool session and not a walk into the surf. The centre says it does it that way for your safety and comfort, which in practice means you kit up on a stable deck and go down a ladder.
Before the water there is a general briefing — the basic knowledge and the hand signals used to talk underwater. The operator is careful to describe these as simple guidelines rather than training. An instructor stays with you for the whole dive. Modern equipment, checked by the team, is provided; the price covers the full set and the insurance.
The numbers the centre publishes for the dive itself: roughly forty minutes underwater and about ninety minutes in total counting the run out of the port, though the home page frames the whole activity as two and a half to three hours once you add the centre. The legal depth limit for a try dive in Spain is twelve metres, and the operator adds a note of its own: it prefers to stay a little shallower, because the deeper you go the faster the tank empties and the shorter the dive gets. For children up to twelve years old the limit is two metres.
What swims past is the same fauna as on the centre's guided dives — the operator names stingrays, turtles, rays, moray eels and angel sharks among the species commonly spotted. Photos are taken for you during the dive and can be bought afterwards at the office. And if you surface wanting more, the centre offers a second dive from the same boat, to twelve metres, at half price.

“Highly recommended for getting started in diving. Mónica, Sophie and Ilde helped us with the gear, gave us clear and precise instructions and were underwater with us, watching over us the whole time. Niko and Eva looked after us on the boat with hot drinks and something to eat after an almost hour-long dive.”
“An unforgettable experience and a great team; I would do it again without a doubt. Worth noting that they answered the phone on 25 December and taught me the course the very next day. I hope to come back soon.”
