Had a really great time. We booked the shared tour. Great snorkeling experience, nice food, great people with us on the boat and the guides were funny and shared some interesting insights on the island of Lobos and Fuerteventura. Totally worth the price and easy and uncomplicated booking and communication prior to the tour. There are many catamaran tours but we recommend you take it with these guys.
What is this tour like?
Half an hour's sail from Corralejo harbour to the islet of Lobos, then an anchorage in its clear water with masks, wetsuits and four paddleboards on board, and a Canarian lunch the crew prepares fresh each day from local, seasonal produce. Four hours, ten guests at most, €65 per adult and €45 per child aged 3 to 11, morning or afternoon departure.
Lobos in Catamaran has been running its own boat to Lobos since 2015, and the number that defines the trip is ten. Everything on board is scaled to it: masks and wetsuits for ten people, four paddleboards, and a captain and crew who can actually watch ten swimmers at once. Pick-up is offered in the Corralejo area only, for a maximum of seven passengers at a time — the operator names Cotillo, Origomare, Lajares, Puerto del Rosario and Caleta de Fuste as places it does not collect from.
The route is short and the day is long on the water rather than on the move: out of Corralejo, about half an hour of sailing, and then a stop in front of the islet. Lobos is a natural park and a biosphere site, and the reason the water there reads turquoise from a distance is that it is shallow and sheltered. Snorkelling and paddleboarding happen at that stop under the crew's supervision.
Lunch is cooked fresh each day from local, seasonal produce: papas arrugadas con mojo, the Canarian potatoes with their two sauces, Spanish omelette, and a fruit salad the crew prepares on board. Soft drinks, water, beer, sangria and Spanish wine are included too.
Two departures run: 10:00 to 14:00 and 14:15 to 18:15. Online bookings are not accepted on the day of the trip and must be made at least 24 hours ahead; for a same-day place the operator asks you to phone Oscar on instead. The boat lies at Muelle de Corralejo.
What are the highlights?

- Masks and wetsuits for all ten guests, plus four paddleboards carried on board
- Papas arrugadas con mojo, Spanish omelette and a fresh fruit salad, cooked by the crew that day
- A choice of two departures: 10:00–14:00 or 14:15–18:15

“An excellent catamaran experience out to the island of Los Lobos with a maximum of ten people. Four hours in total, lunch included (a mixed plate, fruit and sangria), snorkelling masks and SUP boards. Hotel pick-up and drop-off included. On price per person it is perhaps the best value, bearing in mind that the catamaran is a little smaller and less modern than the competition. Crew top marks.”
“An outing I would really recommend. We spent four hugely entertaining hours and they flew by, even though I had never been on a catamaran and had my doubts about four hours under way — but we loved it. Both Óscar and Gregg are very likeable; Gregg makes the trip great fun and tells you all sorts of things about the island and the area. He is a real master, and very attentive to detail. Afterwards we went snorkelling and paddle surfing, and the number of fish you see is astonishing. The food was very good, simple but home-made, and the mojo was the best we ate on the island.”
“We really enjoyed the four-hour tour with Elton and Martin. We liked the trip we had booked very much. Going close in to Isla de Lobos together with the snorkelling was great fun. The one thing to improve would be the quantity and variety of the food. For what we paid we expected more of it, and what was served was more of a starter — a couple of potatoes with home-made mojo, potato tortilla and a bit of salad (although it was all very good). The guides were approachable and helpful throughout. Overall a very good experience.”
