What is this tour like?
A full first day underwater with The Diver's Boat from Chaloklum: at most two students per instructor, calm water at Koh Ma first and Sail Rock if you are comfortable. ฿4,200 per person with all gear, a hot lunch, fruit and drinks; from 8 years old.
You sign up at the shop in Chaloklum the day before; there is no gear fitting, because all equipment is on the boat in your size. On the day you meet at the boat on Chaloklum pier at 9:15, and it leaves at 9:30 with a briefing on the way out. Beginners stay shallow and calm on the first dive. The surface interval brings a hot lunch with rice, fruit and drinks, and the second dive follows before the boat is back at the pier around 15:30.
The centre opened in January 2024 as part of The Diver's Boat, on Koh Tao since 2015, and all its equipment dates from 2024. It caps its boat at 20 people. Camera rental is ฿600, or the instructor can film your dive for ฿800.
