A two-hour discovery lesson costs ฿3,500 (≈ $97), and learning to ride on your own takes a course of 6 or 10 hours. Prices were read on the school's site on 1 October 2026.

Important
Lesson times follow the wind and the tide, so keep the day flexible after you book.
When does the wind blow?
Siam Pro Kite lists three seasons: north-east wind from mid-October to mid-January, south-east from mid-January to the end of April, and south-west from mid-May to the end of September. Late April to mid-May falls between them. The school works from spots in the lagoons of the island and confirms the meeting point by season.
| Wind | From | To |
|---|---|---|
| North-east | mid-October | mid-January |
| South-east | mid-January | end of April |
| South-west | mid-May | end of September |
What happens in the first lesson?
Siam Pro Kite's discovery lesson costs ฿3,500 (≈ $97) for two hours. About 30 minutes of theory cover reading the spot, the wind, setting up the kite, a flight simulation and the three key safety steps. Then about an hour and a half in the water: the wind window, launching and landing, flying the kite with one hand and walking with it, relaunching it from the water, first body drags and power strokes, the quick release and a full self-rescue.

How long until I ride on my own?
The courses are private two-hour lessons, booked around wind, tide and your time: 6 hours for ฿12,000 (≈ $332) or 10 hours for ฿19,000 (≈ $526). They cover power strokes, body drags up and downwind, the water start, riding both ways and finally riding upwind. The school says 90% of its students with no experience ride upwind on their own within five lessons.

I already kite. What then?
A one-hour customised lesson costs ฿2,500 (≈ $69) for riders who can or once could ride upwind, with walkie-talkies for coaching. After it, riders who prove they can go upwind rent gear at ฿1,000 (≈ $28) an hour; the standard rate for a full set is ฿1,500 (≈ $42) an hour or ฿4,000 (≈ $111) a day.
