What is this tour like?
A private charter on the 32-foot Luhrs Open Express “Cana”, up to four passengers, with a toilet and shower on board. From $500 per boat for four hours, free cancellation 48 hours ahead.
Four passengers on a 32-footer is a comfortable number rather than a packed one, and the head and shower matter on a boat where you may be out for most of the day. Four hours of fishing are $500, six hours $600 and a nine-hour day $940; adding a snorkelling stop costs $50 more on each.
The operator’s rate page includes the captain and the mate, fees and taxes, refreshments, food and transport in the price, and gives $600 as the average cost per boat across its fleet. Guests are collected by private van at the hotel entrance.
For more than four, the operator’s larger boats take five (Blue Sky and Gone Dog), six (Sherlock) or eight (Fortuna), from $550 to $700 for four hours.
