MJM Jones SUP Board Rental on Na Jomtien Beach — Amara Watersports★★★★★
It's a great place to go paddleboarding. Robert and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. I messaged before I went and they responded quickly. SUP rental was 300B for the hour, which is great value. Highly recommended for a beginner who needs a friendly teacher to a more experienced paddler who wants to be pushed.
DBDale Bender SUP Board Rental on Na Jomtien Beach — Amara Watersports★★★★★
A chill spot on the beach with loads of great conditioned equipment to rent and a place next door to grab a drink afterwards. It was my girlfriend's first time SUP and she enjoyed it! Looking for something to do? Come check this place out.
КККсения Клепикова SUP Board Rental on Na Jomtien Beach — Amara Watersports★★★★★
I really like this sport center. We have windsurfing lessons here with the family, with coach Robert. He is a very positive and friendly person, and he explains very clearly in Russian or English. Every time after a lesson I feel happy!
฿300 an hour for the board. The club's hourly price list has SUP board rental at ฿300, and a ten-hour package at ฿2,500.
I have never paddled. Will someone show me?
Yes — an instructor hour is ฿500 on the same price list. Guests write that the staff came out with them when the water turned rough even though they had only paid for a rental.
When is the water calmest?
Early morning, before the sea breeze fills in. Na Jomtien is a windsurfing and wing beach precisely because the wind arrives here in the afternoon.
Are showers included?
Yes. The club states there are no membership fees and that rental or storage includes use of the showers and the rigging area.
What else can I rent there?
Windsurf gear from ฿500 an hour for a beginner set and a Hobie Wave catamaran at ฿1,000 an hour; windsurf lessons start at ฿500 an hour and a five-hour course is ฿3,200.
Who runs the club?
Amara, a former Thai Olympic windsurfing representative who took part in the 1980 Games and won the Windsurfer World Championship in Israel; the club has been on this beach since 1978.
Do they speak Russian?
At least one coach does: a Russian-speaking guest writes that coach Robert explained everything clearly in Russian or English. English is the working language on the beach.
How do I get to Na Jomtien?
Soi Na Jomtien 14, about 20 minutes south of Jomtien beach by taxi or Grab; the shop is on the sand itself, next to a beachfront bar.
