We booked the standard snorkel tour and were more than satisfied.
We paid 1100 MX$ per person, so around €55. On top of that came a 33 MX$ booking fee, 200 MX$ national park fee per person and tips.
We booked online through the official website of the Cozumel Snorkel Center. We received invoices and information by email in a trustworthy way. We could also contact the center with questions and requests via WhatsApp and got a reply very quickly.
The tour was led by Gasper and Emilio, who always kept the mood high.
The boat was big enough and very well kept.
There were 4 stops, including El Cielo with its many starfish. We also saw a turtle, small rays and reef sharks.
Rodrigo took nice pictures of everyone with his GoPro. At €50–65 that was too expensive for us, though, since we had brought our own camera anyway. For €30 I would have thought about it again.
Also, the tips are not shared with the photographer. We tipped him separately, because he was really very nice and always made an effort, even though we didn't want to buy his photos.
In my view the tipping situation could be communicated better in advance.
At the last stop, in the shallow, super clear water, there were also lots of big rays to see, and plenty of drinks and a snack platter for each couple/family. The platter included ceviche (a fish dish). As we are vegetarian, that was unfortunately very unpleasant for us.
In future guests could perhaps be asked directly whether they are vegetarian/vegan.
The tour is highly recommended all round!

I am a former PADI instructor and have been diving in Cozumel since the 1980's. I have seen good operators and have heard stories about bad operators over the years. I assure anyone reading this review that Blue Notes Scuba in Cozumel is one of the very best. I have made multiple trips over the past three years and plan to return again in 2027.
The boat crew and divemaster were definitely worthy of five stars. They were very accommodating and extremely safe. Their divemaster, Ludyvine, had eyes in the back of her head and her situational awareness of the divers in her group was impressive. As a fellow dive professional, I noticed. She was 100% squared away and safety conscious. Kudos to her!
On my last trip I reached out to the owner of Blue Notes with a very specific request for a small group of friends that I brought to Cozumel. The owner, Doug, was able to coordinate our needs with a small private vessel, equipment, crew, etc and I very much appreciate his exceptional service.
Note that the attached pics were taken aboard the small private boat I requested as opposed to Blue Notes usual dive boat that is fast, well equipped and even more accommodating.

I almost do not want to write this review and let the secret get out on Scuba Tony!
Had four relaxing and productive mornings of diving with Tony's crew. Each day we got out early and beat the crowds to the reef. In 7 of the 8 dives, we managed to avoid the many other dive boats and get some relative peace on the dives. They picked me up at the Allegro every day (I booked Allegro knowing this) promptly and a few minutes later I was underwater. The captains were friendly and helpful and the divemasters did a great job leading and spotting. During our one hour surface interval, we were provided drinks and snacks including the best guac I had on the island. Lastly, was happy to leave with my complimentary souvenir Scuba Tony water bottle.
We had 4, 5 or 6 divers on each dive as promised. No cattle boats. The captain brings your gears and tank to you and helps you into your BCD and soon you do a backward roll and your wet. Getting out of the water is easy and you take off your BCD in the water and hand it to the captain as well as your fins and climb on board.
I cannot recommend Scuba Tony more!

I booked parasailing a few months before my cruise. The reservation was easy, required a small deposit, and offered cancellation/refund up until the last minute.
The day I got to Cozumel I was not feeling well. I emailed them at approximately 1:00pm to cancel my 3:00pm reservation. I received confirmation around 3:15pm that they canceled and refunded my deposit.
I then realized the card I had used to make the reservation had been compromised and replaced. I replied to let them know this and I would understand if they couldn’t process the refund.
I received a reply thank me for my understanding and explain that many banks due process returns despite a card being cancelled.
Fortunately the refund showed in my account later that night.
Email communication was great. Any issue of time delays were related to my lack of cell/wifi while in Cozumel. They honored their cancellation policy and their communication was clear and helpful.

We had 3 family dives with Scuba Tony this week. Our first dive was a refresher (we had not been diving in almost a year), and then we did 2 additional half day dives. Our guides were Cris, Israel, and Renata. They were wonderful. We are fairly new to scuba and our 14 and 12 year old children were joining us. As a parent, this can be quite overwhelming, but the guides expertise, professionalism, and care made this the most enjoyable dive experience of our lives! The visibility was outstanding and the biodiversity was like nothing we have seen before. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Scuba Tony for your scuba needs while visiting Cozumel.

Going on this excursion was the best! The group of fewer than 20 people was perfect, and it was super convenient that they could pick me up at my hotel's pier. Each reef has its own thing. Super cool. We saw manta rays, turtles, sharks, barracudas. And loads of really lovely starfish. Gasper was an excellent guide, always giving clear instructions and expectations. Emilio was our captain and set a great mood. Rodrigo was our photographer and offers the photo package at a really good price. The food was delicious and prepared fresh by the guys. 100% recommend this excursion!

Good afternoon,
I want to tell you that I loved the tour; it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. The whole team was extremely kind and gave excellent service. In particular, I thank Darwin, captain Mike, the photographer and Maugui for their attention and professionalism.
Even though I can't swim, I felt safe and looked after the whole time. Mr Darwin was very patient and dedicated in teaching us to swim and snorkel, which made me enjoy the activity even more.
I recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you so much for everything! #Cozumel 🫰🏻

Went here for a cruise excursion! Our guides name was Memo and me and my wife did a discover scuba dive! Memo was very great! We had a bit of classroom time before the dive so we can understand what to do in situations. Then we went out for a beach dive. It was just me and my wife with our instructor and they were extremely patient with us! My ears had a hard time adjusting underwater and they took plenty of time for me to adjust before we went deeper! I plan to come back soon for a full certification! One of the best experiences of my life! Thank you!

Been coming to Cozumel for more than 20 years, ScubaTony has always been the best. Attention to the details. Not the cheapest shop, but there is a lot more than just transportation to the reefs. Small boats allow you the freedom to go to different places everyday. Surface intervals with fresh guacamole, salsa, and mangos... Warm water rinsing after each dive. Ice cold water and drinks all the time. This trip we ran into another diver we met here almost 20 years ago and still diving 🤿 with ScubaTony also.

An extraordinary experience, 15 out of 10. I enjoyed it enormously, and with the professionalism of someone who has mastered their job and enjoys it, they made sure I enjoyed it to the full too. I only have words of thanks, and if I come back to Cozumel it will without a doubt be with you that I dive again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for showing me the fauna and flora of Cozumel's seabed with the fish, lobsters, crabs and that impressive turtle.
Thank you and thank you.

Boat Intrepid was great! Captain Miguel and crew Leonardo and Fernanda took great care of us. The food was fresh and tasty as well. The boat was solid and secure with enough power for to haul all the guests. They took us to a few snorkel spots and a beach stop where they made fresh ceviche. Hope to visit with them again in the future. One thing to keep in mind is that they don't have flippers onboard, so if you prefer swimming with those and have them, bring it along.
