Is the price per person or per jet ski?
Per jet ski on all six. Two people sharing one machine pay once: €80 on the WOW 40-minute double, €100 on the WOW hour-long double, €120 on the JetSkiPuertoColon double — the operator calls it “the total price for two people sharing one”. JetScoot's second-rider rule is contradictory on its own page, so ask.
Do I need a licence?
No. All six are guided: you ride behind an instructor's boat or in formation, after a safety briefing and with a life jacket. That is the arrangement that makes a licence unnecessary here.
What is the minimum age?
Only one operator publishes one: JetSkiPuertoColon writes “single jet ski drivers must be at least 16 years old”, and does not state an age for the passenger on a double. JetScoot and WOW publish no minimum age at all — ask before booking with children. A WOW review mentions a son riding a double with a parent.
Is it cheaper online?
With JetScoot, yes and by a lot: €65 online against €75 on site for La Caleta, €79 against €95 for Palm Mar. WOW publishes a single and a double price for each of its two safaris; JetSkiPuertoColon publishes one price per machine — though on the single safari its page shows both €100 and €95, so ask.
How much of the hour is actually riding?
JetSkiPuertoColon is the one that says: about 45 of the 60 minutes are on the water, and you arrive 30 minutes before your slot. The other operators publish total duration only, so budget for briefing and kit either way.
What if the sea is too rough?
None of the three operators publishes a bad-weather rule. Ask what happens to your slot before you pay, and confirm the day before — Puerto Colón departures are exposed to the same swell as the whale boats.

Why does per machine change the arithmetic?
All six rides are priced for the jet ski, so two people sharing divide the figure. WOW writes it out plainly: €70 for a single machine and €80 for a double — €40 a head for two. JetSkiPuertoColon does the same at the top of the range: €100 for one rider against €120 as “the total price for two people sharing one”, which is €60 each.
Which two price notes should you not ignore?
JetScoot's page says a second rider is free — “free second user… no additional cost” — while the FAQ on the same page says a second person is “an additional €10”.
The online rate is quoted as the operator publishes it; confirm with them before you pay what a second rider costs. Online and on-the-spot prices differ too: €65 against €75 for La Caleta, €79 against €95 for Palm Mar.
JetSkiPuertoColon has a contradiction of its own on the single safari: the headline of its booking page says “From €100 per person” while the spec block on the same page says “€95 per rider”. Ask which of the two applies to your departure before you pay.
Forty minutes or an hour?
Forty-minute rides are the norm at the cheap end: La Caleta with JetScoot and the WOW safari. The hour-long options are JetScoot's Palm Mar run, WOW's hour-long safari (€80 single, €100 double) and both Sea-Doo safaris.
