The arithmetic is blunt: €650 for a private four hours is what about eight shared seats cost, so a couple or a threesome is far better off on the shared trip, and a group of eight is not. Is the price per angler or per boat?
Both exist. €85 is one seat on a shared four-hour trip. €500, €650 and €725 are for the whole boat regardless of how many of you come — and neither operator publishes how many that can be, so ask.
Are rods and bait included?
Yate Sofía says yes — “the necessary fishing equipment”, plus food and drinks on all trips. No Limits itemises nothing on its page, so tackle, bait, drinks and licence cover have to be confirmed with the operator when you book.
From how many people is a private boat worth it?
Compare four hours with four hours: €650 private against €85 a seat means the private boat costs about eight shared places. Below that, the shared trip wins on price; above it, the boat does — provided the operator confirms it can take your group.
Do I need a fishing licence?
Neither operator publishes how licence cover is handled, so this is one of the things to settle before you pay rather than at the pontoon.
What happens in bad weather?
The captain decides on the day. Only the private four-hour No Limits charter writes down what follows: if it cancels for conditions it rebooks or refunds. The two Yate Sofía charters and the shared No Limits trip publish nothing about weather, so settle it before you pay. Confirm the day before.

Which harbours do the boats leave from?
No Limits Fishing works out of Puerto Colón, pontoons 11 and 13, in the middle of the Costa Adeje hotel belt. Yate Sofía lies in Los Cristianos, pontoon 3, berth 12. No Limits sells its trips on its own boats.
What is in the price?
On Sofía food and drinks come with every trip, along with the fishing equipment, and you can order what you want on board in advance. With No Limits the tackle, bait, drinks and licence cover are agreed when you book.
Three hours or four?
The short option is Sofía's three hours for €500; a guest review notes that a half day is “maybe not the best for professional big game”, which is a fair warning about what a short trip can reach. Four hours costs €725 on the same boat, against €650 for four hours with No Limits.
