Kitesurf course, 3 hours, one student — SogniCanarias
I took 10 hours of kitesurfing lessons with SogniCanarias… The instructor Tonin and Cilia were extremely professional, always putting safety first
2 options for kitesurf, wing & windsurf in Tenerife — real operator prices, routes and guest reviews, all in one place.
Kitesurfing on Tenerife happens at El Médano, on the windy south-east corner of the island, where the IKO-registered SogniCanarias school teaches one-to-one and in small groups.
Every price covers the equipment, the gear, IKO certification and insurance — the school tags the three hours “best for improvements” and the six hours “best for intermediate riders”, so tell them your level when you book. Teaching is in English, Spanish and Italian.
Group courses are priced separately by the school rather than multiplied per head. The whole ladder, cheapest first:
Three hours of one-to-one kitesurfing at the IKO-registered SogniCanarias school in El Médano, tagged by the school as “best for improvements”. €180 including equipment, gear, IKO certification and insurance.
Six hours of one-to-one kitesurfing at SogniCanarias in El Médano, tagged “best for intermediate riders”. €355 including equipment, gear, IKO certification and insurance.

If you're looking to learn wingfoil, this is the ultimate destination! The team takes you to an ideal spot just a 10-minute drive from the surf school

El Médano is where the wind is, and the school sits on the seafront there — Paseo Nuestra Señora Mercedes de La Roja. That is about an hour's drive from the Costa Adeje marinas on the west coast, so a kite session is its own day, not an add-on to a boat trip.
Equipment, gear, IKO certification and insurance are inside every figure — the school provides wetsuit, harness and all kit; you bring swimwear, sun protection and water. Group courses are priced separately rather than multiplied per head.
| Course | Students | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Three hours | One student | €180 |
| Six hours | One student | €355 |
| Nine hours | Two students | €600 |
| Nine hours | Three students | €630 |
Three hours works out at €60 an hour and six at a little under €60, so the longer one-to-one course buys time rather than a discount.
It is a level, not a slogan: the tag on the three-hour course assumes you have kited before, and the six-hour course is tagged “best for intermediate riders” — someone who can already fly the kite and body-drag and wants to ride consistently. If you are starting from zero, say so when you book so the school can put you in the right session.
Important
the school sets the day by the wind forecast rather than by your calendar, so keep your dates flexible.
