Two of the centres sell both. A try dive is the short version: a briefing and a supervised dive. The PADI-recognised Discover Scuba programme adds theory and more skills in the sea before you go down. At Ocean Trek that is €90 for about three hours against €120 for about four, with a dive of roughly 45 minutes. At Diving Atlantis it is €115 against €135 from the boat.
Diving Atlantis prices the two entries separately: €105 from the beach, €115 from the boat, both forty minutes. A beach entry means walking in; a boat entry means getting into open water from a deck, which is worth knowing if you are nervous. Online those become €94.50 and €103.50.
Ocean Trek spells the session out: a briefing, a shallow-water training session and a dive. At BIG FISH and Diving Atlantis, ask the centre what the session covers when you book.
Important
at Atlantis the kit (€7.50 a dive), the insurance (€10 a day) and the transfer (€5) are charged on top of the session.
All three teach in English and Spanish. Ocean Trek adds German; Diving Atlantis adds Russian. If you want your first breath under water explained in your own language, choose the centre by language.
