A day of two boat dives in Hurghada costs €40 to €50 for the day, and the gap between those two numbers is entirely about what the operator has already paid for: the park fee, the rental kit, the hotel pick-up and lunch sit inside some prices and on top of others.
If you have never dived, the try-dive day costs €45 to €60: €45 at Diving Star (two dives to a maximum of 7 metres, minimum age 10, equipment included), €48 at Dive Academy Red Sea, €50 at Gagoblue, €60 for one person or €115 for two at Funnydivers.
A full PADI Open Water certification runs €250 to €360.

A full day on the Diving Star boat, 8:00–15:00, with two guided dives at two different sites. €50 on the published price list — national park fees, Hurghada hotel transfer, lunch and drinks are in; equipment rental is €20 per day on top.
A first-time diving day with Diving Star: one day, two dives to a maximum of 7 metres, minimum age 10. €45 on the price list with equipment, the boat trip, lunch and Hurghada hotel transfer included.
The first full certification with Diving Star: €360 on the price list, with PADI E-Learning, certification fees and dive equipment all included. Transport from Makadi, El Gouna or Sahl Hasheesh is €25 per car.
Two guided boat dives with lunch and drinks on board for €40 per person — the unit is printed 'p.p.' on the price list. Equipment rental (€15/day) and the Marine Park Fee (€5 per person per day) are extra.

Scubadore's day trip for certified divers: two dives, full equipment (wetsuit, BCD, regulator, mask, fins), buffet lunch and unlimited drinks for €50 per person — the price block is headed 'per person, equipment included'. Pickup 08:15–08:30, back in port around 16:30.
Gagoblue's Schnuppertauchen: a full boat day (about 8 hours) with two dives, all equipment, lunch, drinks and transfer inside Hurghada for €50. The €5 daily nature-reserve tax and a dive computer (€5/day) are extra.
'1 Tag Tauchen' for certified divers: two boat dives on a roughly eight-hour day with a 12-litre tank, lunch, drinks and transfer inside Hurghada for €50. Nature-reserve tax (€5/day), a 15 l tank (€5) and a dive computer (€5/day) are extra.
The PADI Open Water Diver course at a German-run school: boat dives, all equipment, lunch, drinks and transfer inside Hurghada for €325 per course. The €5 daily nature-reserve tax and out-of-town transfers (€10) are extra.

The number on a Hurghada dive list is rarely the whole bill. On top of the boat day sit the daily marine park fee and the rental kit, and every centre places them differently: inside the price for some, as a separate line you settle in cash for others.
Kit is €15 a day at Scuba Hurghada and Funnydivers, €20 a day at Diving Star, and nothing at Scubadore or on any of the try-dive programmes, where it is part of the deal.
Read the unit as carefully as the number. Scuba Hurghada, Funnydivers and Scubadore quote the day per person; with Diving Star, Dive Academy Red Sea and Gagoblue, confirm the unit with the centre before you pay — it moves the bill further than the difference between the centres.
The transfer inside Hurghada is included by Diving Star, Funnydivers, Dive Academy Red Sea, Gagoblue and Scubadore; with Scuba Hurghada it is worth asking at booking. Nobody includes the drive from El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh, Makadi Bay or Safaga — that is charged on its own, and on a family booking it can weigh more than the gap between two centres.

For a first certification, the three courses differ by €110. The €250 course at Scuba Hurghada is three days with equipment and lunch, and leaves the €55 PADI certification fee, the course book and the daily park fee outside.
The €325 course at Gagoblue includes all equipment, meals, drinks and the Hurghada transfer, with only the €5 daily reserve tax on top. The €360 course at Diving Star puts the PADI E‑Learning, the certification fees and the equipment inside one number, so the theory is done at home before you fly.
Important
the marine park fee — €5 per person per day, charged by the state to everyone who goes out on a Red Sea boat — is already paid by Funnydivers and Diving Star, while Scuba Hurghada and Gagoblue charge it separately, in cash on the day.
