A whole day on the 28-metre yacht ‘Mirage Pool’ from the same operator costs €540 per boat from 09:00 to 16:30 for up to fourteen, or €38.57 each when full.
Both prices are for the boat, not per person. Both charters include hotel transfers, snorkelling equipment, snacks, drinks and all fees and taxes; the yacht adds lunch, fruit and a private snorkelling guide. An extraordinary and unforgettable day aboard a very well-maintained and comfortable boat. The organization by Albert was perfect from start to finish, and the crew of the MY SKY boat was incredibly welcoming, kind, attentive. Islam and Ali always made sure everyone had a great time.
Absolutely incredible day. Enjoyed by all ages, there were 9 of us. The crew made the day for us, friendly, polite and wanted to do anything to make the day enjoyable. We saw dolphins, made towel hats on our heads, they took us wherever we wanted to go and took an amazing underwater picture for us.
We had a great day. We booked the My Sky for the day and we had such a good day. We went to our different stops and enjoyed them so much. The staff was so, so friendly, a huge shoutout to Eslam for his brilliant service. We asked for a seafood menu and it was delicious! The best food we'd had in Egypt.
The trip was absolutely amazing from start to finish — we enjoyed every moment of it. Both boat drivers were incredibly friendly and fun, which made the experience even better. We were lucky enough to see many dolphins and even swim with them. The driver approached them very respectfully.
The two boats answer two different questions, and the €300 between them is three and a half more hours, six more seats and a meal.
‘Thunder VIP’ is four hours and speed: a 9-metre hull for up to eight, enough for a morning at a reef and back. ‘Mirage Pool’ is a whole day with a galley: 28 metres, up to fourteen, boarding at 09:00 and back at 16:30, with lunch and fruit cooked and served aboard rather than bought on an island.
It changes the arithmetic. If your party is short of the maximum, the charter is dearer per head than a shared boat tour — and if your party is at the maximum, it is often cheaper than buying seats.

Both charters put all fees and taxes inside the price, which in Hurghada is worth reading twice: the recurring Red Sea extras — park fees, transfers — are already settled here. Island entry is the one line that stays outside.
